I’m looking to purchase my first 911. Fortunate to have a healthy budget. Looking for a long hood (swb or lwb) but not a backdate. Not really looking for an S as I would like to be able to do a mild hot rod. Tasteful updates to suspension and engine (p&c, cam upgrade, twin plug maybe, etc), dual exhaust, etc… If I found a fairly complete mild hot rod I’d be good to pay 150k-180k depending on build out. Otherwise I’m wondering if I should find a good T and put 50-80k of performance upgrades into it as I go along. Any thoughts on this? I saw this car at RPM Garage in Dallas. I realize a good PPI is important. On the surface this looks like a decent price for a ‘73 T MFI but appreciate some opinions from people here. Figure maybe a good candidate to add some performance updates to? Also saw this ivory one online from CPR classics but think asking 130k…maybe seems little high. Anyone have thoughts value and how I should do this?. I.e just be patient and wait for a decent hot rod to hit BaT or get a great condition T in low 100k and add to it? If I posted this in the wrong place let me know and please take it easy on me

I’m aware of my amateur/newbie status but appreciate everyone here’s suggestions as you have way more experience in this than me.
