Having raised a couple kids, my first suggestion would be just to not let him play with the windows. Some things are simply off-limits to toddlers and they need to understand that.
Having said that, I also would not let him climb onto and stand on the coffee table.
Beyond that, I have no idea how many of these windows you have or how often he’s there but maybe simply putting something in front of them when he’s there might suffice. If not, there’s always that word, no.
