Yes. At least in the two cases I has been the Executor. My Dad and I went through the Will with his lawyer. There were no doubts.

The only way to do it, Baz, is to find one or two folks and work through the details in advance. I have a bingo, bango, bongo succession of Executors, starting with my wife and running down the kid chain. The kid lawyer is last on the list.

Sound odd? Pass away without a plan and imagine the mayhem.

Everyone, please do this. We all get uncomfortable with the discussion, but I was so grateful that my Dad worked through this and one was in place.
