Indeed. Oyster dressing/stuffing was a favorite of my dad and his side of the family.
Which is weird 'cause dad grew up on a Iowa farm in the Great Depression. He moved here to Florida (Gainesville) in the late 50s/early 60s as did his parents (Brooksville).
How the heck would poor Iowa farm folk know about oysters of the non-rocky-mountain variety?
