Those in the infected cohort were quite sick, probably given Remdesivir as well, based on the 15x increase in kidney failures.

The other cohort were healthy and show no such increase in risk, in fact it showed a reduced rate (!) which is more indication of what's questionable in this study.
That's one of the confounders.
