I had a client / defendant in the Army once that was arrested while AWOL. I was trying to piece together how he got arrested.
While driving thru Mississippi he came upon an accident scene and ran over a dead body shortly after the accident occurred. He pulled over to see what he hit. Cops put 2 and 2 together and he was arrested on a deserter warrant.
