Wow. First earthquake, then tsunami, THEN Fukushima reactor meltdown.
My dad worked for GE back in the day and helped get the Japanese nuclear energy program up and going in the 60's. He was part of the team that sold that reactor to Nippon Electric, but he was quick to point out all did was sell them the reactor core, not the environmental controls to keep it cool/running.
