Overall death rates will be greatly affected by that huge 10-59 age range. I'm not going to look up actual numbers, though anyone should be able to understand the basic premise.
Let's split that 50 year range in half.
10-34 and 35-59
We know that the normal death rate for all deaths in the 10-34 group is far lower than the 35-59 group.
We also know the rate of vaccination in the 10-34 group is lower than the 35-59 group.
We end up with a group of people that die at a far lower normal rate that are less vaccinated compared to a group that dies at a far higher rate that are far more vaccinated.
When the data from the groups are combined it can cause people like Alex to possibly come to an inaccurate conclusion.
More information is needed in smaller date ranges.
