I think they should start allowing little blades again, what is the diff? I had a money clip I carried for years with a teensy 1.5" blade. Forgot about it but found by security, had to snap the blade off to make it through. Otoh: Knitting needles? Damn! No way!
Course all the tsa I see is security theater.
