I think the probe got too hot and now it won't register a temp. Or it was me dropping it since it was hot. Either way, it doesn't work. It turns on but no temp, does still show the max desired temp though.

I like the probe on a metal chord type thing. Have used a analog just stick it in type and still have a decent one of those. I need something for use in smoker for tri tip.

All suggestions are appreciated.

What kind of smoker are you using.
