It is 76 degrees, and crazy winds. I had to blow some leaves out of the garage after my time out there.
I finally got around to rebuilding my impact wrench. When attached to the air hose, it would just run, even without pulling the trigger. I bought a rebuild kit from Ingersol Rand, and then went looking for instructions on how to do it. I looked for 30 minutes and found nothing about how to take it apart and do the seals replacement. One guy posted a 15 second video on his impact wrench doing the same thing, but that was zero help. No one had a video of the same or even very similar unit. So I just tackled it like I would have in the olden days before the internet.
I made some notes for next time, if there is a next time. One seal was just brittle and looked like a hamster chewed on it. Not a difficult repair, but I could do now in 15 or 20 minutes.
Then I tackled replacing the throttle position sensor on the EL Camino. After many miles and years the old one was having issues. The new one seems to fix them all. I suspect it is just my wishful thinking, but it seems to have more throttle at WOT, and certainly idles smooth and at all positions on the throttle. I will learn more as I drive it more.
