I've seen a lot of tires worn like that. Probably the wear is affecting the tracking of the bike at this point. Might be a waste of time trying to check the alignment until you ride it with new tires and see how it tracks. A number of manufactures are producing excellent sport tires for these bikes, I like the Continental Sport Attack 4's the best out of the ones I've tried, currently have them on my BCR's and use them on Track Days on the 04.
