Every one of my boxers exhibit this wear pattern. Going back to my almost new R12S.
These machines are right side heavy which guarantee's:
1.) the obvious static bias
2.) the countersteering required. Trans, majority of the swingarm, final drive, etc. It's all on the right. Consequently we get "pulling to the right" or "front tire wear on the left" inquiries. There are those who suggest the road crown is a contributing factor too which I concur with, albeit a fractional percentile. Pretty rudimentary physics folks.
The unsymmetrical weighting front to rear, left to right across the tire contact patches is the bugaboo.
Of course, verification of mechanical consumables, i.e. Paralever, final drive pivot bearings, and yes - a check of the crown gear (large ring gear) bearing is suggested.
With the machine on its centerstand grab the wheel at 12-6 and 9-3 O'clock positions and hopefully you wont feel any (or very minimal) rocking.
With the tire wear being as it is, there's no wonder it wants to fall in that direction. IMO, if the above mentioned checks are performed and it passes, fit new tires and you're good to go.
