Fondest Christmas memory here is a Christmas eve blizzard in 82, maybe 83.
It was snowing super hard on our way to church, by the time service was over, we came out to a white out in the parking lot, and had to dig the car out.
Barely made it home, the normally 15 minute drive took over an hour, and there was this one valley we had to traverse, where cars were stuck everywhere , and sliding back down to the bottom.
We arrived home to a power outage, and celebrated our x mas eve by the fireplace and candlelight . Awoke the next morning to a blanket of white, and the most beautiful serene scene I think I can ever remember. The world was a peaceful quiet place at that moment
We had one other Christmas snow storm, when I was little bit older. I took a good long ride on my yz 125 that morning, and went way up into this pine tree grove , and just sat there for some time taking in all the beauty and calmness of mother nature .
Would highly recommend at least one white christmas
