As a kid, my Christmases alternated between snowy (Cleveland) and tropical (Barranquilla). In an unexpected hybrid of the two, I happened to hear a thing on the radio yesterday about how San Juan,
PR had snow flown in for snowball fights on Christmas every year for some years in the ‘50s. Obviously it did not last long. I enjoyed the snowy Christmases but of course it’s easy when you’re a kid because it’s all play. Obviously it can be snowy in Chicago but I spend my Christmases in Atlanta and it’s going to be ~65F, which suits me just fine.
