Yea, there is no doubt that some of the property owners out there are making a lot of easy money for letting the companies install and maintain the towers. Every one has to have underground connections to a central substation. They all have some right of way to get to the towers. Most of them seem to have wheat fields growing, and or they are letting the field rest and just growing grass and weeds to cut for hay, and let the cattle eat the grass for a fee.
No worries about the weather affecting the crops, or having to harvest if it is just a field of grasses and weeds. Just cut it for hay a couple time per year. No doubt they are loving it if they don't live out there. It has to suck for the ones living out there with the noise of the blades churning.
The images from Google Earth and Bing Earth are old, 2015 and before, and don't show any of the towers.
