My seatbelts were done, so I drove the three or so miles over there to pick them up. I wondered out to the garage garage to check out just what I need to do to install them. I was disappointed to see it requires removing the entire seat, and pulling back the carpet to get to the bolts. I did that probably 15 years ago when I replaced the driver's side seat belt. That time I replaced the carpet.
The carpeting needs to be replaced yet again. I guess every 187,000 miles the carpet needs to be replaced. It is faded from sitting in the sun all day at my last job, and has some decent wear on the driver side. It is past time. So I guess I will be ordering carpet, and removing the seat, and carpet. They also sell a lower door panel that has two 5.25 inch speaker holes formed in on each side. That may well be on the list of things to order. The speakers in the car now are in the dash. They are 3.5 inch and pretty crappy. So I mat well just finally get some decent speakers after 30 years. No big rush.
It is 78 degrees today and I had to run the AC when I was out driving around an errand. I am in shorts! I love Christmas Eve in shorts.
