Ask around in the area where it’s sourced and used and the locals will probably have a name for it.

You can also probably get all fancy and look at the geology of the area and identify the strata that it comes from.

The lighter yellowish areas are the weathered faces, the gray is the color of the unweathered rock itself.

Ledgestone usually refers to a method of laying the rock, not so much a particular rock type.
