I know this is not porsche related,... but you guyz are the only people I can get answers from!!! I tried posting over at yotatech.com and I can't get any answers out of them!!! I don't think I've gotten one good informative answer from those guyz over there. Anyways,... my truck,... I want to flush the engine out,... clean out the oild passages. the truck only has like 66,000 miles on it so I'm not worried about leakages or anything like that. So,... I got some ATF and I was going to use that,... is that all I need or should use to do this? How long shold I do it for? I remember 20 minutes at idle, watching the temp guage closely. Is that about right? My truck has been running like shizz lately and the MPG has been ****ty too, like 15 - 16. Keep in ming its a 4Cyl. at 2.7L. That blows. Also the my exhaust tones are nasty,... has a putt putt sound to it when its suppose to HUM like when I first got her. IU ran some BG44k through the truck,... I actually ran two can of that through before and that helped alot with my slight power loss and it even got rid of the putt putt in the exhaust tones. You guyz use that on the pcars? Good shizz,... it's like 17 beans at the stealer. Anyways,... I am about to run another can of the 44K through and then I'm going ot change out the fuel filter seeing that it might be full seeing that I ran 3 cans through. I am also going to change out the spark plug wires, oil fliter, and spark plugs are new. I just need to know about the fluching,... thanks. Here some pictures of what I ahve been up too,... LOL.
