I’m with you. Based on the one photo, I would clean, detail, repair, tune, and enjoy as-is! Steel flat nose conversion? That couldn’t have been a cheap undertaking back in the day, could it? More pics please, and welcome to the forum.
P.S. I have no issues with the front valence either! Clean it up and show this car off!
