But boosting a high compression, previously normally aspirated engine that doesn’t have any sort of knock control is just a really stupid idea. Looking at his list of modifications, it’s clear that he didn’t do anything to build that thing in a sensible way.

Sounded to me like the car was in neutral and coasting, and sounded bad. I'm assuming that points to engine.
