Got me for $465.00 USD for what appeared to be a great deal on a used ring and pinion.
Big red flag now is that he requested F&F Paypal for payment, I was naïve on the protocol of forums given it has been about 20 years since I bought or sold off open forums..... anything previously was off of private Facebook groups where you can check the statistics of the buyer/ seller.
Once paid, he requested more for added shipping cost, at which point I offered to pay with Paypal protection, which he refused and sent back, then delays in shipping documentation, etc, etc, now he claims not to have sold me anything, wont return the funds.
Lesson learned, Karma will get the better of him.....

That’s exactly what happened to me. I’m never paying by F&F again unless I have actually met the seller (which for me means UK only) and will add on the 3% seller’s fee if necessary.
These people are scumbags and we need to be ultra vigilant to their tricks and traps.
