Two stories on how I came to be named.
Mom always told me her best friend came up with it, some soap opera personality in the early 1960's. That was the only story I every heard, up until I was in my 40's, when I told someone in front of my dad. "That's not right, you were the only one I got to name."

this guy. "He was a heckuva ballplayer and I always liked that name. Decided if I ever got the chance to name a kid, that was it"
