15k - 20k would be a fair valuation based on the information you provided
An air-cooled needing work can turn into a money pit for someone not familiar
Once you start looking at $20k+, it starts getting into running projects or better (77 911S at least)

edit: tartan interior is pretty sweet, but what is the condition of it etc? I have sold a few of these cars and like to shoot realistically (lower)
