We had falling snow here in Opelika, Alabama yesterday from around 8am to 2pm but it didnt really stick. Today at the time of texting this, it is 38 degrees. No snow or rain expected today but it it just really cloudy and gloomy gray outside.
I moved to Alabama from Florida in February of 1993 and in March of that year we experienced a "blizzard" which had everything shut down for a few days. I was snowed in at our place on Lake Martin so, I enjoyed the snow. My Mother on the other hand was in Birmingham at the time and her condo was without power for a week or more.
