ok, this is from way out in left field. a friend once had a antique bottle that was way hazy and grimey. we used an old restaurant trick used to clean those coffee pots found in diners and seveneleven throughout the world. we put crushed ice in it, alot of salt and a bunch of lemon juice. swirl it around like a madman and it came out gleaming! this trick works on coffee stains so we went for it. do you think it would work on the headlights? the acid in the lemons etch away the grime and the salt and ice are the abrasive element. WAY left field, sorry.
