Yes but there's a couple of different flavors. Most VW guys use the 8mm 1.25 head stud case saver with a 10mm OD, then there's a 10mm ID x 12mm OD metric case saver and the OS oddball CS in my pic which has a 10mm ID with a 1/2"-13 thread on the OD.
You use the 10mm x 12mm metric CS in the 911 mag case.
