They used bigger piston squirters on the turbos to help better cool down the pistons with the added power and heat from the turbo. Then the heat could be removed by the oil cooler(s).

Thanks for your answer, it was my point exactly.
With this pump fitted i'll have excess flow which for most of the time will be bypassing back to the case by the pressure regulating valve.
I already have the pump.....and the squirters need to be replaced....that's why im pondering whether or not to replace the squirters with turbo items to take advantage of the extra flow thats not really required.
