In 2004 I custom ordered my 2005 Cayenne. I spent more on options than I did on my first new car, a custom ordered 1992 Ford Thunderbird LX. (Over $22,000 in Cayenne options vs Thunderbird $15,560)
17 years later the Cayenne is still going strong. Glad I bought it new. However, now I doubt I would buy new, definitely CPO.
