Don't you ride your bike in the street.
don't
I've had lots of "bingles" over the years. Most of them on the track! - The worst... A guy was towing a trailer that was wider than his car and he was careless. He hit the rear wheel of my bike with the trailer. The bike was totaled and I banged my head when I hit the ground but luckily the trailer didn't touch me. It would have been so much worse if it had.

Just recently I serviced an E-Bike with a central Bosch motor and took it for a test ride when I was finished. Not a lot of power (rated at 250 watts) but it was silky smooth and very quiet. I can see the attraction especially if you lived in a city and just needed something to get around... But an off-roader with 1000+ watts would be a real hoot!
