Pete, I have only ridden a full suspension mtb with a Bosch crank drive once. It was fun a blast and the assisted power come on very smooth. We went up a long gravel road with deep ruts and rocky sections. Its a 9 mile, bout' 15km for rest of ya, hill none stop to the top, 5000'+ local mountain top. We rode up there when the mtb craze started. Took forever in granny gears. That was a steep, azz kicker. Not for the faint of heart and we were in great shape then. Took us more about 1:45+ normally to crest the top. With the Bosch ebike, we got up there within the hour but the battery is near empty. It was a Hai bike with the 3.5 or 4" fat tires. It just roll over every rut and rocks on the road. Smooth too. I am not a good mountain biker but it was fun.
That Grizzly is a lot of fun, almost a small motor cycle like feel to them without the sound.
