Please help me understand. You call them crooks because you aren't willing to pay their asking price? How's does that make sense? I dislike dealers, but I do not go around calling them crooks. Maybe you need to take a hard look at your offer. Below market price, maybe? I see this all the time. When someone has a price fixated in their head and they get sticker shock, then name calling starts.
