Last June I bought my 1978 930 from a family friend that had been restoring it since 2005. Car was resprayed, new door window frames, rebuilt dash, new window seals, new gas tank. In 2007 engine was rebuilt with new valves. The engine and transmission are still out of the car and I have replaced all rubber fuel lines and awaiting complete fuel distributor and WUR rebuild. The car was a driver as it as 106k miles on it.
I think I am going to run Kendall 20w50 GT1 competition. I feel like using a synthetic would be a waste as the car will be a weekend warrior during summer months in Colorado.
I was hoping to get some input on what oils you run?
