Automated programable button pusher for a remote?

Ok, one for the brain trust.
I am trying to do some macro photography with a sony camera using what is called focus stacking. Unfortunately there is no way to automate this through sony. But I can do it manually on a sony bluetooth remote.
Basically I need to push 2 different buttons on the remote- one button 3 times, then a different button once- and repeat.
The 3 presses adjusts focus, the other single button push takes an image.
Doing it manually- I have to do it about 100 times to finalize an image. Driving me nuts.
I am an old fart- trainable but not writing code or anything.
I just need 2 solenoids that I can jerry rig to push 2 buttons, one button 3 times then a different button once for a set number of cycles. Timing interval not vital- about 1/2 second apart or so.
Or, I could probably disassemble the remote and directly access the switches so I would just need to pulse closed two circuits in a programmable fashion.
I know what I want to do, just don't know how to do it.
Thanks, this place can come up with just about anything!!
