I set up the home office back in the days when I had a regular job, and my old cheap computer I built on a budget. That computer morphed into a 18 TB RAID 5 and now lives at my partner's house.
I have my home office in a room by itself.
Yesterday was a perfect day to fly, and my business partner flew a "campus" like setting spread over a large area. He said the day was perfect smooth, and fun to fly. He got happy fingers and shot a LOT of pictures. I had to open the RAW files, convert them to 145 MB tif files, then to JPG files with a much lower resolution. Even as a JPG they were 36 MB each. Then upload them all to our One Drive and the customer is happy.
It still just slays me that our Canon shoots a bigger image in JPG mode than the $5,000 IBM computer's entire 32 GB hard drive had for capacity. It would not have been able to store one single full resolution image. I just zipped through almost 200 full res files, converted them to what is useful to the client, and uploaded them in short order.
