If you're still struggling with sinus drainage and congestion I can get you the name of the spray the NP recommended for my dad. He has almost constant post nasal drip that causes him to cough violently! The virus caused him to cough violently to an even greater extent. Can't say for sure if it was the spray or the Mucinex but his coughing, even his normal cough, is pretty much gone unless he goes out in the cold air and does his walk.
The stuff might help clear you up. Both my mom and dad (mom got it too!) are pretty much over it already.

Edit: Just asked Mom! It's Ipratropium Bromide that's the stuff that helped clear the sinuses and helped with the post nasal drip that was causing him to cough. The Mucinex helped with congestion.

I prefer my "herbs" in gummy form or brownies. Never tried it in soup!
