That's a pretty stupid response and uncalled for.
I think Jeff's reply is pretty clear and correct since he is not using the correct process a spot-on match isn't necessary.
6002 seems a pretty close match. Most of the strut is hidden and with shading no one will know it is a half shade off. Not to mention even from the factory one batch of strut color isn't exactly the same as another.
