I approached this like a combination of Wheel of Fortune and Jumble: chose an initial word that used up two vowels and three of the most commonly used consonants. That got me three letters, albeit incorrectly placed ones.
Word number two: I ignored the three correct letters (avoided them, actually) from the first guess and entered a word that used the other three vowels (no, I haven't forgotten
sometimes "Y") which gave me a fourth letter, this one properly placed.
Now having four out of the five letters, I treated it like a Jumble and, voila` ... got it.
As I said, I'm sure they won't all be this easy, but I'm interested to see if my approach continues to work.
