I think you need at least an iPhone 6. And if your battery is closing in on 4 years, get it replaced. Old batteries cause weird behavior. My old 6 started acting up, and that is what I was told. And reboot weekly. My 10 got weird, would not scroll, and when it locked up/shut down decided to call 911. It was only a year or 2 old. Now I reboot every Sunday.
