Late 70s, and 80s a guy down the street from me had a red Miura. Did not drive it a lot but when he did I was just awed by that car. It had a black rear view mirror out on the fender that was rumored to be from K mart.
Always wondered what happened to that car.
He also drove a car similar to this.
