These types of sockets generally work well, but be careful and buy quality. I purchased a similar socket years n=back for my 85 Carrera. Worked great for many years. This fall I want dto remove the wheels on my 996TT and while re-torquing the socket actually broke with the piece stuck inside the wheel ( note that rear wheels on the 996TT have very deep holes for the lugs). It was a nightmare to get the piece(s) out and I had to use titanium drill bits to essentially break up the broken socket head. I got it out and only suffered a very small abrasion on the wheel which touched up nicely. Something to consider and spend the money for the good stuff - not an ebay piece. Hope that helps
