Was on atorvastatin (Lipitor) for a couple years before having muscle and joint pain. Tried CoQ10 which did nothing. Switched to rosuvastatin 10mg and have been on it for 5 years with no side effects. The one you’re on is supposed to have the fewest side effects.
Anyway...I asked my doc about CoQ10 during a visit and he said...”sure, take it if you want to feel like you’re doing something”.
And, SM is right. I had a calcium scoring done and the cost was $90.
