Zeke knows more about window installation than anyone I’ve ever met. I have decent knowledge knowledge of installation technique, but my expertise is in the window product itself. I’ve done a lot of work with windows and stucco houses so I do know a few tricks for repair or replacement without breaking the bank or ruining the house. That’s why I suggested going in from the interior. If there is a trim board between the window frame and stucco cladding on the exterior you can take off the trim and go in that way too. Usually you lose the trim but that’s cheap compared to cutting back the stucco.
