Rex Ramsey is still around. Rex lives on a 99 acre ranch outside of Willits.
I met Rex at the Russell Racing School in 1998. I worked with Rex, and School Owner Jacques Couture. Jacques taught Gilles Villeneuve how to race. Rex won the 1968 Grand Prix of Canada in a F5000 car.
Rex built his own Sports Prototype racecar. He even poured his own wheels.
Rex lived next door to me in Sonoma for a while in 2011.
Last time I saw Rex was in the Grocery Outlet in Willits in the Summer of 2021.
