The other themes were pretty bad along with a bunch of bad or washed up actors being involved. These episodes far outnumber the other good ones.
Anyone remember when Higgins doubled as an Irish priest??? Or when Carol Burnett played a PI from the mainland and just about got Magnum killed? And a couple of episodes with Red West (who was great in Black Sheep Squadron and Roadhouse).
Those were pretty rough, as were the 2 or 3 cowboy/rodeo episodes.

I was surprised how many guest stars on Miami Vice. Musicians, to actors that are top billed today like Liam Neeson.
