Houston is number 2 in murders currently. I am pretty sure we have it in us to claw our way to the top.

I had an incident the other morning on my way to work that has me considering carrying a weapon. A guy rode my arse for a half mile with his brights on, after we both made a right at a light I slowed to let him go past. I flicked my lights once he was in front of me. He began to slow and when I was nearly even with him he accelerated and cut me off with a brake check, I went around on the left and he accelerated. He passed and got a 1/4 mile ahead and he came to a stop. I was driving slow as I wanted to let him go. As I neared his SUV now parked in the road he was exiting his car, I squeezed around and left him after pulling into a store parking lot. I don't know his intention but it wasn't good.

So, I work in hospitals and conceal carry isn't an option. I don't want to leave in the car.

What options are you Pelicans using?
My daily driver will often be the 911 so not a secure place for a weapon.
