Sounds like you contacted the interlock contractor. If not I'd start there because it is their equipment and not the vehicle owner's.

Owner is not happy. Pfft. I'd say this is their issue to fix, as in get the info and approval from the interlock contractor to allow you to bypass/work on. And B, they are in this predicament of their own making.

We have one or two judges here that require the portable devices rather than vehicle mounted. They see it as a prevention from using the wife's or kid's car. I see it as a prohibition on drinking rather than a drinking and driving issue. Those portable devices are GPS enabled and take a photo of the person blowing.
