So unfortunately my project took a turn which I didn’t expect. After removing the rocker panels I discovered some bubbling from the lower part of the passenger fender. I removed the stone guard and there it was RUST. Man was I bummed. This really sucks. I’m in the process of removing the fender and having it repaired correctly with single stage painting process. Trying to keep it as original as possible since 95% of the Porsche is original paint. This rusted fender was repainted by the previous owner many years ago. At this point I’m really considering taking care of all the wheel wells with a light coat a paint. “Greasy Fingers style”
