Yes. But I think this promotion is if you spent over $3K, you get it all back. I'm sure there was a time period.
Furniture has a HUGE markup. Full price, the markup is about 400%. Even a "50% off" sale generates more than a 50% margin.
I learned all of this by joining a "Furniture Club" (Direct Buy), $3K to join but you buy the furniture at cost. I had a 3300 sq foot house to fill up. Needed 2 full bedroom sets, balance furniture for another bedroom, 2 living rooms, an office and a dining room. My Townhouse in San Diego was 1400 sq feet and I gave away my master bedroom furniture to get the deal done.
