Last I heard (which admittedly was before Omicron), natural immunity was not stronger than vaccination and also natural immunity dropped off at a considerably faster rate over time.
With Omicron, we are seeing that the vaccines are nearly useless in preventing infection but that they have considerable efficacy in preventing serious illness. More so than natural immunity.
